It's a major rule in negotiations and conversations.
They are crusted or stale and musty as Mr. Farange put it. They need to be stired up.

By the way I did'nt notice so fare how entertaining debates in the EU parliament can be.

I'm for out. We'd save so much money that we could pump into our armed forces and public services, so then maybe in the future people's pay and pensions won't be ruined like mine has been. We won't lose out on any trading because we spend so much money importing, no other country will want to miss out on our money

Not what the leading economists say, yes the country pays to be part of a trading club but the question is, is it good value considering how much we profit by it divided by how much of our independent governance is slowly being transferred to an unelected group.

Free movement (And UK is not part of Shengen zone) could be restricted to those in work etc etc/

EU and EC already talking about restricting free movement to economic migrants. I don't know the principles of this, but understand its being debated behind closed doors, even though free movement is a founding principle of the EU

This might be the beginning of the end of the EU.
One founding principle restricted it is only a small step towards other restrictions and then it's over.

Wouldn't necessarily agree that its the end, but UK leaving wouldn't help

Some Clubs and Collectives have to evolve and change, and I am in the EU should change and be more democaratic, but think leaving is just quitting. Im no quitter.

this is an attitude I do admire but as I wrote before something drastic has to happen to wake up the politicians especially in brussels and make them clear it is time for a real change..

Italy want a referendum and its estimated that leave would win with about 60% and euro scepticism is larger in France. I have a feeling it would be a domino effect, next Dexit & Nexit (Denmark & Netherlands) two others keen on leaving.

Also! One thing that has irritated me is Nicola Sturgeon campaigning for STAY! People don't seem to see her agenda! She only wants to stay in order to allow her to force another referendum to split from GBR. If we leave then they have no choice as to leaving GBR as the EU won't want Scotland & without the Euro they would be in a sticky situation. She's only campaigning for her own political agenda. So technically a leave vote would keep GBR stronger

I can agree with some of this. It needs change, but don't think leaving to be on your own will help to change

Brussels is too much of a gravy boat- and both my brother and his wife work for the Commission in Brussels, so I know what they really think

But the fundamental principle of Unity, is a wise one.

You could well be right, and that would be unfortunate if a Brexit caused a domino effect

The founding principles for the EU was to promote peace and stability after WW2 as the League of Nations failed whilst promoting cooperation of free markets by reducing trading tariffs to promote sustainable development whilst protection social (equality, human rights etc) economic and political aspects of member countries through draconian legislation enforced through the CJEU.

Also I have heard people say that we should stay and fight even when it's tough. Reminds me of the ideology seen during WW1 in the trenches. Standing a fighting then worked brilliantly.
