I don't always like listening via bluetooth. Sound is sometimes better through AUX, and also DS3's lag like shit through bluetooth so I have to watch videos with audio going through aux.

Ooh I thought it was £35?

    edit: is is £35. https://www.theguardian.com/technolo...ter-headphones

That still doesn't allow charging and using headphones.

Yeah that's just the lighting to aux adapter.

Ah you mean the £40 dock - again, ridiculous. What if I want to charge and listen to music whilst say walking or whilst on a train/flight?

And those airpods are ridiculous. I bet people lose them within minutes. And they don't come with the phone, so that's another £150?! And they only have 5 hours playback. My current bluetooth earphones have 8 hours playback, are waterproof and were no more than £25.

Nice to see Apple still haven't taken on wireless charging too...

Dock is £50 and wouldn't be practical in the car.

Exactly. I like the design etc of Apple products but I can't get behind their pricing/illogical money making decisions.

Still find it odd how people that upgrade their Android handsets don't have the same urgency to tell everyone.

Some of you seem to think that Apple's marketing strategy that encourages users to purchase peripherals at an additional expense isn't by design...

it's definitely by design, that's what annoys me. it's not about giving the user a pleasurable and convenient experience anymore. it's money, money, money.

I've really enjoyed leaving the apple crowd. My s6 edge has been great. Will get the s8 next year.

I guess I am one of the lucky ones or not, depending on your views of Apple products, I personally have been a customer of Apple products since 1998, and I have just received my iPhone 7 plus 256 GB in jet black, it's every bit a sleek design with the high surface mirror polish finish, beautiful, if you appreciate design.

How long will it stay shiny though? I think it looks great but I can see it getting scratched and covered in fingerprints quite quickly.
