Once the car was nice and warm it worked just fine. I've now taken to removing the stick and putting the cap down when I'm leaving the car overnight, all worked fine today

Snow update - 48 hours on, and still stuck!!

The wind's been blowing the snow across the track as fast as I can clear it.

Have now decided to wait for the thaw. Could be a long wait ...

Final indignity - an offer from the wife (who's not been here this week) to break off her trip and "come and rescue me".

Managed to get to work today after 2 days snowed in, only damage to the car was a torn wiper blade. The car managed to get up the hill out of our village no probs once I pressed the ESB button.
