Vizsla's are pointers and hunters rather than killers , hence their phenomenal endurance, eyesight and hearing. Although slightly smaller than a Doberman, they have a deep bark and a strong front end so give the impression (in the dark) of being bigger than they are, reassuring to have in the house when I'm away. Incredibly loyal dogs and crave love and attention, sometimes referred to as 'The Velcro dog'.
