Your dealer seems to be a bit more informed than most! The shark grey is really nice actually... Would have made my choice of colour a lot easier as I'm guessing it will be replacing both the thorium and manitoba grey.

Wish I could have stretched to the full leather interior! Sure you won't miss your Seat once you're behind the wheel of your new DS3!

Still waiting on a confirmed date from my dealer. The expected date on the order form is the 31/03 but one of the guys I spoke to at the dealership said it could be early March since its sat at Calais so we'll see!

Sorry for being slow on this on guys, not been in the office for a few days!

Thorium Grey is being replaced by Shark Grey which is a different shade (has a hint of green in the flare), also on the e-hdi the tyres are being switched back to the Bridgestones with no effect on the tax or emission ratings. From March Build DS3 will now be at Model Year 17 whichis when the new grey comes into play.

Manitoba Grey is still available at present to order.

One thing I forgot to ask my dealer was re locking wheel nuts but suppose they are standard if alloy wheels are fitted.

Yes they are, you only get the one and make sure that it is in the car before you leave otherwise you may have a tough time getting a replacement FOC.

Hi All

New member, just joined today. I ordered my DS3 yesterday in Thorium Grey/Carmen Red with full Red Leather. eHDI model. I was told by my dealer that Thorium Grey was also being discontinued and if they could not source this colour its replacement colour would be Shark Grey which does not look that different. Had a C3 in the showroom in that colour. As it is now the eHDI it is tax exempt. Also offering 3 years complimentary servicing and breakdown cover.

Delivery 16th March. Trading in my thirsty 2 litre Seat Leon, which i love but time to part company too expensive to run.

just ordered thorium and carmen myself last friday. So it may be shark grey then.

I would get your dealer to double check to your order for the combi code on the colour. The Shark Grey is a rather different shade of grey if you haven't seen it.

Masters Citroen Beckenham rang me this afternoon to advise that the Thorium Grey has definitely been discontinued.

Shark Grey it is with Carmen Red Roof. Delivery will now be end of March, which is fine with me as this gives me time to retain the personalised reg on my Seat ready for transfer when delivered.

To recap mine will be the Dsport eHDI 110 Airdream Shark Grey/Carmen Red Full Amarante Leather Signature City Signature Space Saver Spare Wheel.

8 weeks and counting. Driving her by Easter I hope.:redface:

To be honest I'm a little gutted about missing out on the shark grey option by a week! Wish my dealer had mentioned it as would happily have waited until the end of March for a shark grey one (wanted dark grey and fancied manitoba until it was pointed out its actually quite green) and would have meant I'd have got the space saver I ordered. Unfortunately because I'm getting a thorium grey one that was sat at Calais (but with no space saver) im probably going to have to wait months to get one on separate order. Apparently some people have been waiting since August last year because they can't get the tyres! Oh well... Really hope I love the thorium when I pick it up and im sure by the time the start of March gets here ill be grateful not to wait any longer!!

By the way my dealer mentioned he'd sold some people regular 16 inch tyres instead of space savers which fit in the well but just mean the carpet doesn't quite sit flat. Apologies if this is discussed elsewhere on here but just wondering if anyone's actually 'living with' this solution??

I am sure the space saver tyre will not be a problem, try to avoid getting a puncher. At least you will have something to tied you over.

Yay!! Bet that put a big smile on your face!! Emailed my dealer yesterday to see if he had anymore of an idea when my car might be ready! This is worse than the build up to Christmas when I was a kid!!

Yes I agree. Be worth the wait in the end. Would not want to drive the car in this weather anyway so just as well I have got to wait. Trading in my Seat Leon so this is no longer depreciating as the deal has been done trade in wise.
