Can't sleep with excitement! DS3 Sport on its way!!!

Got my new reg confirmed by my dealer today!! Only 13 days until I pick him up!!!

Going to the dealer on Sunday to sign some finance paperwork and my car car was due to arrive at the dealership this week so might get a sneak peak. ;-)

Took my car reg retention cert into the dealer this morning and was told that my car will be ready at the factory 6th March, so could have it by the 25th.

Was only going to deliver this and ended up sitting in a show room model reading the owners manual cover to cover.

Have you thought of a name yet? Mine is a her as 'DS' is french for goddess!! Trying to think of a name. Some of previous cars were:

Seat Leon Jessica, after the Allman Brothers song used by Top Gear as their original theme tune.
Ford Focus Purdie, after the Joanna Lumley character of the same name in the New Avengers
Ford Fiesta Felicity, after Felicity Kendall
Ford Fiesta Ariane, after the European Space program because she went like a rocket.

Perhaps I need to find a Greek Goddess

Good news that you should have your car by the 25th!!

I'm thinking 'Monte' at the moment! After Monparnasse in Paris, Monte Carlo and mon being 'my' in French.

A couple of things not mentioned in the specifications for the eHDI Sport Diesel, like the anti dazzle rear view mirror, find your way home lights.

Found out how to turn the traction control off and you can program the car through the menu on the radio to switch off the stop start.

Also automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, which are part of the My signature package.

The dealer also tells me that Citroen are only offering the 3 year free servicing across the entire range until the end of March 2012 .

Seeing my dealer today so will ask about the servicing deal. Really hoping my car is going to be there to have a quick peek at and maybe grab a pic!!

Sorry AJ.... my car hadn't arrived when I went in (gutted). Apparently because the original order said the 31st March (when they were going to build one) the administrater hadn't called it off.

Spoke to the guy on the Tuesday after and he assured me 'they'd found it' and it will be ready for me to pick up on the 1st. In all the dissapointment I forgot to ask about the servicing deals so will se what he can offer me when I go to pick it up on THURSDAY!!!!

Have been looking for some good places to get pics and will borrow my Dad's camera so hopefully I can get some good shots of him!

Agree with Kaibabes that the arctic steel looks particularly nice with the black roof... there's one near me I admire when i'm driving past!...still not seen any Thorium grey ones!

Thats good very exciting.

Cant wait to see it. Mine is still on schedule for delivery by 25th March. Went into the showroom yesterday and played with the DS3 in black.

They had a new DS5 there, very nice but well out of my price range and too big to fit in my garage. Far better that the DS4

Dealer rang me today and said I've got the 3 year free serving deal!! He thought as I'd paid the first part of my deposit on the 31st Jan I wasnt eligible but they only actually placed my order on the 2nd of Feb so i'm a winner!!!! Yay!!!

Just got back from Bulgaria today and saw lots of DS3 posters at the side of the road but none actually being driven.

Good that you have the 3 years servicing package as well.
