DS3 Cabrio Roof

Hi all

My son has a DS3 Cabrio (2013/62) and has a problem with the roof (surprise surprise)

looking for any info on it (workshop manuals / diagrams etc)

and/or any garages, suggestions or recommendations on where to contact / take into etc


all + any advice would be very greatly appreciated!

Here are a few bits of useful info on this site. One of the issues is that the roof rails are not lubricated and the roof sticks so there is a Technical service bulletin on the last one which outlines how to do it

if your roof gets stuck and/or the boot won't open, the supplementary manual says to press and hold the close button for the roof for at least 5 seconds, then the system re-initialises




There is a guy who advertises on ebay about fixing pluriel and DS3 cabrio roofs, may be worth an email. He is http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/rmacgregor123/ and has done several ads about both cars roofs in the past

Also - it is possible to wind the roof manually, I think the instructions are in the handbook

have tried calling the Bob chap from ebay (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115251549590) - no luck

said would only replace roof with a new one .. not fix it
(estimated would be in region 3k+ over the phone/without seeing it)


+ thanks yes there's a manual opening + closing section in the 'owners supplement handbook - page 10'

(we havent given that a try yet.. but think x1 or x2 of plastic runners on the driver side stuck/snapped )

I think that roofing problems and the DS3 Cabrio are two things that really go hand in hand with one another. Almost the same as excellence and Roofing Company Queens, NY. That's how strong the relationship really is.
