So Scaremongering a bit IMO
I traded up because of the deal negotiated and the condition of the partex (NOT the engine) - as time goes by, will performance modify the car, and decided it would be better to do that to a 155, than a 150. That is true.
But that doesn't take away from the fact that there were relatively few problems with the 150 compared to ownership levels that I am aware of, especially when left as standard
Motoring commentators all suggest you shouldn't performance modify an already performance produced stock car- so everyone takes a risk, and to cut down the risk as much as poss is the best it gets .
Only aware of ONE issue with a THP 155 engine reported so far, (Can anyone remember the post title) and that hasn't been confirmed as yet that its a common problem of the engine. And they've sold 1000ssssss. Biggie will confirm no doubtsigpicJog on Noddy

Received the car today, only managed about 55mpg with the air con on the way back in pretty rubbish traffic . On a smooth run on the way back home from the parents after taking a look at the peak torque rpm (1750) changing up as soon as I hit 2000rpm and driving fairly sensibly (56mph on the cruise control seems to be a nice speed in 5th) I managed an easy 74.2mpg with a stop at a couple of lights which I made sure to select neutral to see if the eco start stop technology was worth it. I usually leave my foot on the clutch for a quick get away at most traffic signals so not sure how much i'll use it!
Will try get some pics up tomorrow!
