The driver appears to just pull over, away from the cyclists at the first set of lights, so he could pull past the cyclists- not sure he was speeding, just pulled away quick

6 of one and half dozen of another, and yes it does look comical the way the cyclists pelts past, trying to catch the Audi up. LOL

Still think I'm "Team" Driver rather than "Team Cyclist" tho
Violence not the answer tho- maybe just strong words, similar to those said to him

Didnt it used to be called Road Fund licence?
There used to be a road fund. Was scrapped altogether. The new tax is nothing to do with funding roads.

Yeh it's something like emission tax, I think it should go off the size of the vehicle not the engine.

I know this road and have ridden it and far worse in London. I dare anyway saying the cyclist was at fault to try and ride around London at rush hour for two days and tell me it's always the cyclist, sure you will change your mind.

The tax point has to be the most ridiculous argument ever.

Both people were at fault but nobody has the right to react like that.

The guy clearly has a nice car which he as worked hard for, we are here on a car forum as I believe we are all extremely protective and proud of our cars right? You're telling me a guy pulls up along side you banging his bike on your car, hailing abuse at you and smacking on your window you'd just sit there and let him?

The Audi driver did go slightly into the cycle zone but it isn't like he was close to knocking anyone off their bikes. No need for the cyclist to react how he did, however I don't really condone the driver punching him either.

Just re-watched the vid closely the cyclist never touched his car in the whole vid. First part he was calm and second did act like a dickhead and screen profanities but that is hardly a reason to assault someone. As said before both acting like little kids in a schoolyard.

Poll needs a team neither they are both wrong.

^ I think people need to be decisive in their opinions Cyclone
People can be either slightly one or the other- if it went to court, a decision would be made

                      GET OFF THE FENCE!!!

Also, to be fair, the car was no where near the cyclist when he first moved around, the bike moved closer to him.

OK! lets see. The cyclist started it all but he never touched the car just mouthed off, the car person got out of there car and assalted the cyclist. The car driver made the choice to escalate the situation from verbal to physical when he attacted the cyclist. The cyclist made the choice to to go after the car and verbally abuse the driver. As no physical act was taken by the cyclist and the driver could have just lock his doors turned up the radio and called the police.(remember the cyclist has not touched the car so the driver or his property was not damaged). Now being a foreigner to the UK I do not know but maybe it is ok to carry out a preemptive strike against someone that annoys you but then again isn't that one of the things you Europeans berate America about:cool:So if you force me to make a choice it would be for the cyclist even though they are both complete idiots and desperately need anger management classes!
