Spot on Red L - you made the right choice.....i guess you're good for duals....if not I have a pair going for sale if you fancy them.....be careful when they install them... given in Winter, teaching a new pupil controls using your pedals can be quite tricky, in terms of light...i've previously used a torch for the past 2 years in my ds3.
Little did I know - there ARE footwell lights - its just the duals mean the lights are disconnected and put to one side. I asked for them to be kept this time - just reconnected them and looking forward to having the most basic of needs in life, light in the footwell.
Cheers Red L

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the offer of the duals but I lease through Hitachi so comes with the duals already. I had the same issue with the footwell lights in my 308cc - was disappointed they were missing when I got the car, and then found them in the spare wheel well, left there by the dual control fitter. With a little bit of adjustment I fitted them back in myself.
Sash - there are a few soft top convertibles excluded from tests, but only a few. I did a test a couple of years ago with a student in his Dad's car, an old 306 convertible with a fabric top, so doesn't have to be a metal top. Some examiners like the roof off on test, a few don't, so I normally do tests with the roof on to keep the peace. I have done a few tests over the years with the roof down. Makes reversing easier!!
Now the DS3 is ordered, I'm feeling more excited!!

Update on my aero box. Fuel consumption over the last 2000 miles is 56.4 mpg compare to 54.something with atraditional headboard. Obvs the trip computer is not very accurate but probably around a 3-4% improvement.
Succesful pupil with headboard in the background.
