            I believe my first vehicle was actually a BMW at the tender age of 16 unless you count the one above (and yes that really is me)

                Drums on the rear of mine and I'm not upside down in a ditch so they definitely work.
                A plus being that the rear alloys get nowhere near as dirty as the front ones.

                  Tbf most the grime on the rears will be off the road even if you have discs, unless you've got something mid engined the chances are the balance is so far forward that it barely uses the rears unless you're jamming the brakes on full. Both the mazda and the citroen get dirty front wheels long before the rears despite discs all round.
