I love this, seeing people say tires are shit because they don't get 15000 miles on them hahahahah

If thats the case, throw some skate board wheels on and get 100000 miles out of them before they need replaced. Good luck taking a corner or braking.

The distance a tire covers before it needs replaced doesnt really bother me as long as it grips.

The Ventus V12 are amazing as a winter tire. Done 5000 miles so far on them and just swapped the back for the fronts (even the tire wear out).

They'll probably do 10000 miles total and when you consider they get a lot of abuse i'd say thats more than acceptable. add to the fact they only cost £268.80 for 4...

Micheldever tyres recommended that for the C4, when replacing a pair of tyres that the newest pair would go on the back and the existing back pair swap to the front.However I am currently on 4 new Michelins on my DS3 so will wait and see how they all wear.Front wheel drive cars eat through front tyres due to powering and steering those wheels.

Yes that's so the car has a tendency to understeer rather than oversteer

I fail to see your point when trying to compare tyres on the back, that just no comparison. the fronts wheels will wear at least 3 times as fast as the rears - its not rocket science. Rear tyres are not subjected to the same forces as the fronts!

22,000 miles out of Michelin on the front compared to 10,000 on Hancooks on the front. I don't need someone to explain to me that FWD cars wear front tyres more than the back. But there's a huge difference in Michelin and Hancook in my experience.

I'd of thought the mechelins would have worn quicker to be honest softer rubber but then maybe the hankooks would spin more thus wear quicker

I never needed to change my original rear Potenzas on my old DS3 and they lasted over 34,000 miles. Shite tyres though.

I do big miles but 90% of my driving is motorway so I like to get good mileage from tyres lol

yep had about 45k on my rears, but they were on the limit.
