Currently sat in a car park awaiting Citroën road side assistance. Hoping its a faulty sensor or something daft. On a brighter note, I can confirm the Citroën assist button on the dash works...
Mr AA turned up, plugged in his laptop and it came up with error P0087 - fuel rail system pressure too low. He reckoned it was because there was too little fuel in the car, apparently so little that I was stuck on 3000 rev limit from engine safety management...
The puzzling part is the fuel light wasn't even on and it had 115 miles left according to the trip computer, so either i have a dodgey sensor or my fuel gauge is calibrated completely wrong. He switched the error off, i drove 2 minutes to petrol station, filled her up and drove home 20 miles without a problem. Going to take it to the dealers tomorrow though because he couldn't say 100% what it was so I want them to go over it.
I'm no Citreon Buff, but a simple check - how much did it take to fill it? i.e. how many litres? (I'm not sure off the top ofmy head what the tank capacity is) If you filled it you're know whether it was truly empty...!
Regards,
Clive.

Another update. Light went off again en route to placement so diverted straight to dealership, left it with them and their going to get back to me later today when they have had a look. Will keep you posted
Alas, they have ordered a new fuel pump. I have a silver citroen c3 with a ridiculous panoramic roof to tide me over until Monday or Tuesday when I get my ds3 back.
So glad someone else has this issue, just sorry its one of the forum members! I have had a couple of issues, but this one worries me - i took it in for them to "test" and when i picked it up they told me an air hose had not been connected and that was causing the error (something about low air to fuel) - they also said i wouldnt recieve it again, alas i have still got the error, so will print this off and hand it over to my citroen dealer to give them another avenue to look into.
31 days of my lovely new ds3, 31 days of issues :-(
When i first took the car in they said the AA guy had wiped the memory and they couldn't retrieve the error code so couldn't do anything about it (despite the error and engine management coming on again after Mr AA had removed the warning) Luckily one of the mechanics took the car out and the error occurred again and they were able to send a diagnostics tracer down to the main technical support in slough, they came back and said to order a new high pressure fuel pump.
That leaves me in the position I am in now, the pump is due tonight but they won't be able to fit it until Monday. I'd rather all this shit happens now and it gets sorted properly though. Bit of a disappointment though after having no problems over 40k on a Toyota rav4 and 45k on a vw scirocco.
