I dont seem to have any issue with foot touching the foot rest.

At the dealers today and I saw a 1.4 DSign with an alu footrest plate -no other alu pedals, just the footrest. I took a picture on my phone which I'll stick up in the morning. I also jumped in to have a feel (and pulled to see if it was literally screws pushed into styrofoam -it didnt budge) and it doesn't overhang at all -in fact there's a little carpet showing to the right of it. It must have been an early model as none of the others in there had one. Perhaps they did make a RHD specific version then stopped?

More Than Likely The Dealer Fitted It Themselves If It Was A Display Model...

I'm still confused as to whether there are pre-drilled holes or not, and if so how to locate them.

There is not any pre drilled holes, the holes have to be drilled at the point of fitting. It's a doodle to fit

I just installed the genuine 9646 H1 alloy foot rest plate to my 2012 right hand drive DS Sport. Yes, it is made for left hand drive however, it will fit, you just need to position it correctly, lower left corner of plate hard against the transmission tunnel carpet about half way up with screw pattern offset to the outside. It does not protrude beyond the carpeted rest. I used the self tapper style star screws supplied and just hand screwed them in, taking care not to try tightening too much as its only carpet and rubber/plastic. It looks great and will protect the carpet from wear. I will monitor the fit and hopefully it will stay put! Cheers Scott

                            Hi

                            I bought mine from ebay I think - there's a seller here - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Ne...item1c175f909a

But do shop around as I only paid £20 and I would not pay £39ish for one
