I'm well aware of it mate- my tuners take it back to the stock map for me and will then remap the upgraded software

gonna be a couple hour drive (and ferry ride) to the next loaction.

Just got a letter in the post yesterday, they want me to come in for a motorsoftware update.
They are calling it action MRC.

any of you get this?

So now we're booked in next Thursday to have this done.

It will take a few hours SKYLAQ- Mine being done Monday

Few hours? really?
Well, I'm gonna leave her with the dealers before I go to work and pick her up after, so they can use the time they need.

If I can wait until the warranty expires, I will have to wait for another 13 months.
and with my luck with things, I think I'm gonna wait.. at least try to wait

I received the MRC update letter (all the way down here in Sydney) - it doesn't mention anything about incorrect lights, only an engine ECU update.

Mine is a 2011 115kW version, so a 155 THP, presumably.

Along with the software update, Citroën also paid for the inlet clean and an oil change (which wasn't mentioned in the letter).

A few similar threads running on this (So apols to those reading my repeat)
Mine done today- they had it 6 hours (Probably 3hrs to cool right down)

Have now asked them 3 times- and they read from the sheet same thing every time
" Software upgrade to prevent incorrect illumination of a warning light that causes loss of power"

So it appears the warning light causes the loss of power- Limp mode I'm guessing
Reckon theyve widened the tolerance parameters which may have had knock on consequences that needed addressing
Only He knows why they took so long- cos they reckon they dont know why so long. Unless they fibbing!
Lets hope all runs well- Will let you know

No extras like oil or clean up for me- well they didnt say
