It's my understanding that this update is to change the tolerances that the ECU records in order to avoid a 'false positive'....I should never have doubted the Lord of Bacon!!

From what I could pull out from my dealer, she's allready gone through that first limp-home mode.

However, the service people told me that its the illumination that triggers the power loss (Limp mode) So if it doesnt illuminate then the power wont be lost. I would hope that by altering the tolerances- within parameters of the engine- then maybe the peak would never hit the higher tolerance resulting in no loss of power- so no home in limp mode.
