Whoa guys, I'm still not sure if this lights are REAL Xenon or Xenon style lights using LED tech. Won't know for sure until we see them in the flesh.
I asked Citroen UK via Facebook and they confirmed the following:
To confirm the lights going into the latest model are Xenon LEDs and are UK legal
I also asked them to confirm, for everyones piece of mind that they can be legally retro fitted to pre facelift DS3s, they did say they will contact me again when they know the price of the lights
Just remember that car companies call stuff whatever they want. Just because they call them zenon does not mean they are. Think about all the 4 door coupes running around now or all the halogen bulbs in the store with zenon on the packaging. Only time will tell what they are.

Factor the cost of the lights against the original cost of the vehicle- then think are they too much
If it were a Jag, or a Merc, or something like that, then maybe the cost would be acceptable
But a DS3???.....as much as I love the car (Shakes head)
Reading the German forum apparently hid lights in EU can be without the washers as long as they are under a certain lumen level. So a dimmer zenon. Should still be brighter than the halogens but then a candle is brighter than the normal DS3 lights.

has long has you do not exceed 6000 lumen you don't need washers on lights even though most oe manufactures only use 4300 or 5000 lumens but still fit washers example of this peugeout 307 sw 56 plate I changed a bulb for a wife's friend 2 days ago and the standard peugout ones are 4350 lumens and they don't have washer jets on the lights
