    Carbon build up on intake valves(THP)

    8 weeks back order on the walnut blasting machine...
    There's obviously a huge demand for this service then
    White on red THP
    Miltek exhaust with HKS highflow cat, Forge intercooler, hard pipe kit, induction kit, oil catch tank, , VAG BOV, Stage 3 SPT remap 217 BHP

        Blaster sounds like a good investment with all those psa, bmw, audi/vw/etc direct injection eng having the same problem.

            Predict a world shortage on walnuts then, especially christmas

                I wanted mine doing before FCS too may have to go local on the timing jamie, then book in for walnut blasting in july whilst on holiday and leave the car for a week... what other mods could i squeeze in for that week

                    Car has covered 48k over 6 years with no protection, i absoloutely guarantee there will be a large build up of carbon on the valves, just look at jamies ds3 with half the mileage!

                    Was gonna do a DIY job but the walnut blasting looks much more effecient!

                        The exact same engine as the THP ds3, just a few years older, thats why it is so handy to lurk your forum

                            Yes they seem to suffer a few problems, but the performance and fuel economy certainly outweigh the cons in my eyes...

                            Jamie over on 207.oc there is currently no one at all that offers a walnut blasting service, would be of good use... your tuning days are over once you get this machine, spend the rest of your days leant into engine bays blasting valves
