Took the car in this morning to another dealer nearby for the coils & software download, told it would take 1.5hr to complete. I returned and the service advisor told me that the mechanic reported when he jumped in and started the engine and moved, a puff of black smoke came out of the exhaust and he also said that the engine is running rough. To be honest it did do this last week but it puffed out light grey smoke when I put my foot down in 2nd and then drove as normal. Funny thing it seem to be driving better after the recall refit! I book it in with them in the next 2wks to see what up with now!

Has anyone had a problem with registering a car on the citroen recall page, I have just tried the reg for a 07 C1 and my 62 DS3 both have came back as unable to find.

No sorry both mine registered first time, is there a contact email or telephone number displayed when you can't register ? Have you changed licence plate details on both cars since new ? If so try the original details

Nope no number, just asks to confirm plate, the C1 was second hand by 3 years so don't know the history of plates, but the DS3 is dealer new, only on the road 1 month before my purchase.

Did you try the number plates without spaces ? I just logged back into the Recall service and notice that my DS3 is shown as the letters/numbers in one text string without the spaces...
