I've already sent Citroen Head Office a complaint letter last week (as well as the dealer in Taunton that sold it to me) - not had a response from either yet. I've also notified the finance company of the issue but again no reply.
Been reading up on the Sale of Goods Act and I understand from this that they have 3 attempts to fix the car before I can reject (due to reduce to one chance when the new Act comes in). They've had 2 chances so far - one replacing the original engine and the other over the last 3 weeks including their failed trip to Citroen for assistance.
I'm now considering sending a recorded letter to both dealers (the one who sold and the one fixing) giving them one final opportunity to repair before I reject and seek compensation.
What time frame do you guys think would be reasonable to offer for completion of the final repair? - bearing in mind they've had 6 weeks already and are none the wiser.
