Do we know if the pistons/rods are the same in the DS3 Racing as the THP 155?

So the THP 155 should be able to handle 200BHP+ then? The pistons and rods/ head, anyway

The main differences in Racing are:
            -overly priced carbon looks
            -brakes
            -higher tune
            -special spark plugs
            -exhaust

everything else is pretty much the same.

Now remember why i didnt buy a new Racing at £26k and bought the THP at over £10k lower
Thats about 12,000 Euro for what you say in post above

Suspension is lower, and wheels and a few other bits I'm sure

                Of course, but performance (engine)-wise

Take a THP, add the wheels, exhaust and tune and even the trim and it would still be cheaper than a Racing.

But that's not the point, it still wouldn't be a Racing.

^ No. But add a few more bits, tweek the car look, take it around 220bhp, and you have something unique... n'est pa?
Unfortunately, Racings have a real habit of breaking
