hi peeps maybe some one could tell if I get my ds3 thp remapped will I have to upgrade any thing or do you recommend any thing!!

It depends on the remap. I think most of the 'basic' remaps around at the minute don't require you to upgrade anything, however I think you can get certain remaps that will take advantage of things such as an uprated air filter (i.e. FlashRemapping/Viezu's motorsport remap)Originally posted by Dsport View PostComment

Yeah I've seen that one. I think Viezu have made the map so it still performs within safe boundaries for stock parts, but I believe it does need the uprated filter to make it to 209Originally posted by Dsport View PostCheers for the advice Zack

You must do at least three essential things before doing any remap on 1.6 THP 156 HP:
- reduce spark plug gaps
- change Blowoff valve to that one with 06F145710D code
- change air filter on less restrictive
- PCV delete modification is recommended also
Without doing that changes remap will bring you only problems instead of satsifaction...Last edited by tomu80; 07-12-2011, 11:56.Comment

hi guys ive just had my new 61 plate thp remapped after 1600 miles, running forge dump valve, and a panel filter feels like it pulls very strong cant wait to put on the rollersComment
