I am interested in upgrading my brake pads as well...I notice that most people here use ebc greenstuff..What is the difference between green and yellow pads? I will be using my car for fast road use (not track) so I need some pads than can stop my car better than the factory ones
I think yellowstuffs are much louder in general street use - not the most pleasant thing, but better performance and lifetime. Oh, and a sh*t-ton of brake dust lol.
Been trawling through a Civinfo thread and 90% of the people there say the green is pants, but the yellow is a big improvement to OEM if you can handle washing your wheels every week
I had Carbone Lorraine RC5+ (because RC6 was advertised as a full race application) almost 2 years ago and really did not like them! My current Ferodo ones are much better, tho very expensive! So I'm looking at EBC for my next set too

Ive had green stuffs for maybe 20k now and they have been great, lasted way longer than the OEM pads, made no noise under breaking and compared to the OEM pads feel more reassuring. Odd that others dont like them, maybe its fashionable not to like them in a fanboy way.

Well, they are Honda Civic owners lol. I did think many people on here recommend the greenstuffs, so it was strange to see such a stark contrast of opinion.

To be honest im only comparing them to the OEM as ive never used the Yellows but im sure i read that for road use the greens were best.
I just got a very good price for black diamond predator front and rear pads...much cheaper than ferodo ds2500
Any experience / opinions on these brake pads?
