All this legal stuff- wonder if anyone has been pulled over for too bright beams.

Wouldn't want to dazzle other peeps anyways, me.sigpicJog on Noddy

well come to mention it, the thing with Diamond and Crystal vision bulbs is they are not EU approved but are not reported as 90-110% brighter than normal bulbs. only Philips Xtreme Vision are approved and brighter by specs shown.Last edited by Toxic; 05-11-2013, 09:08.

Makes you wonder what sort of specification Citroen have for the original lamps, cos they are rubbish
Maybe an eco thing, to make you drive a lot more slowly :-)
On a side note I'm all for people trying to improve their night driving but not at the expense of blinding everybody else on the road, that why there are rules regarding the beam, spread and light rating of bulbs and to ignore that in my mind is a very selfish act. I can guarante everyone of us has grumbled when that fool with really bright lights is coming towards us on a dark unfamiliar road...Last edited by Bigfeet; 05-11-2013, 11:43....I should never have doubted the Lord of Bacon!!

Further to post 11, ive fitted a new Osram Nightbreaker unlimited, so have an unlimited dipped beam drivers side lamp, and the original nightbreaker+ passenger side lamp, and both look the same to me. Both still a slightly yellowish tinge.
Have taken a photo, but just dazzles
Will report back when driven with them, as the "Unlimited" state an additional 20% over the nightbreaker plus. yet to be convinced, but they are more expensivesigpicJog on Noddy

I have unlimited fitted for high beam and to be honest I am not that impressed, still don't get the distance as I did on my 307DS3 1.6THP DSport with a few bits added.....nickname BB
Performance...Depends on how heavy my right foot is

Have a practice in front of a wall so you can see the beamsigpicJog on Noddy
