I wonder what Nightbreaker unlimited are like to Phillips Crystal Vision? Diamond Vision are more like 5000k+ were as Crystal Vision are 4300k and more of a white than white/blue.

Are the Crystal vision legal then?
All this legal stuff- wonder if anyone has been pulled over for too bright beams.

Wouldn't want to dazzle other peeps anyways, me.

well come to mention it, the thing with Diamond and Crystal vision bulbs is they are not EU approved but are not reported as 90-110% brighter than normal bulbs. only Philips Xtreme Vision are approved and brighter by specs shown.

Makes you wonder what sort of specification Citroen have for the original lamps, cos they are rubbish
Maybe an eco thing, to make you drive a lot more slowly :-)
What you need to realise is that Citroen will have to bulk order thousands of bulbs which meet the standard required, there would also be a cost issue involved in that too i guess.

On a side note I'm all for people trying to improve their night driving but not at the expense of blinding everybody else on the road, that why there are rules regarding the beam, spread and light rating of bulbs and to ignore that in my mind is a very selfish act. I can guarante everyone of us has grumbled when that fool with really bright lights is coming towards us on a dark unfamiliar road...

They could put the price of every DS3 up £12.50 and fit Osram nightbreakers tho, couldn't they?
            Customers would be well impressed

I completely agree Biggie, no issues with UK legal lights but incorrectly fitted HIDs or illegally bright bulbs are a pain in the ass

Further to post 11, ive fitted a new Osram Nightbreaker unlimited, so have an unlimited dipped beam drivers side lamp, and the original nightbreaker+ passenger side lamp, and both look the same to me. Both still a slightly yellowish tinge.

Have taken a photo, but just dazzles
Will report back when driven with them, as the "Unlimited" state an additional 20% over the nightbreaker plus. yet to be convinced, but they are more expensive

Just a quick question about high beams, how do you flash them? As DS3 doesn't have a locking stalk so pulling it puts the high beams on constantly, right?

The same stalk you pull back to put main beam on all the time, if you pull back quickly, and gently, it flashes
Have a practice in front of a wall so you can see the beam
