  • First clean for my new DS3

Despite the weather forecast this is my best chance of cleaning my DS3 so started at 10:30 this morning with a dirty DS3

After a rinse, applied some Autobrite Direct Magifoam to the car, Very Cherry non acid wheel cleaner and left the bodywork to soak for 30 mins

Then rinsed off Magifoam and used Auto Glym car shampoo, rinsed again and then dried with microfibre cloths. Then applied Auto Glym Super Resin Polish followed by a buff and then applied Auto Glym Extra Gloss Protection. Had to move the car then as it started raining and need it to stay dry for an hour so the Extra Gloss dries off.

    Last buff coming up !

Good Stuff for getting out there in the rain! I know some valeters (as opposed to detailers) who like it raining, it helps with the rinsing, but of course you can't do such a nice finish in the rain - but good on you for getting out there!

Can't wait to see the final results!

Andy is correct, EGP has a good reputation for easy application and I know a lot of people who like it over SRP, but it will go over pretty much anything I believe.

      Regards,
      Clive.

Sorry guys it was tricky due to rain, even after I did the final buff and took it into the car park for photos it started raining again. The EGP goes on really well and if you wait an hour or so buffs off easily too.

Clive the Magifoam and Very Cherry wheel cleaner worked a treat.....

A pop up gazebo is required me thinks. This is one of the next things on my shopping list

Wheels have come up well mate. Did you protect them with anything??

SRP and EGP are ideal products you already have which would work well.
