okay so there is 16 pages on this thread and after scanning through i cannot find a definitive answer to the THP loosing its power. Myn is currently in shite mode and its so fustrating, it happened when driving slowly almost like the car doesn't want to drive fast any more lol when revving the engine there is no blow off at all from the turbo is there any answer to this? what can i easily take apart? clean ? please help

My powerloss is solved since 2 weeks. I always had a coolant leek and powerloss problem for almost 3 years. Never associated the 2, but 2 weeks ago the dealer discovered a fine cut in the coolant reservoir. He changed it and the powerloss is solved also. Don't understand it myself :s

I booked it in once and then the problem solved itself so when I took it in obviously they couldn't find anything wrong with it so I'm worried if I try to book it in then I'll just be wasting my time again 👎

Not really now although should know more after next week once it's been for a service it's only done 39000 miles 👎 it's like the turbo is switched off its silent haha

Doesnt sound like detonation issues to me. Were a few dodgy timing chains and tensioners around though. Mainly 2010 THPs. But a few 2011.Originally posted by MNJG View Post

Oil and filters change for a service, so thats a start. Will have a think. You could try some BGK44 engine cleaner- buts as GDI wont get to the valves.sigpicJog on NoddyComment

Just took the blow Of valve off n had a look around, unclipped a few sensors could not see anything suspicious... Turbo then worked and it was great for about 2 miles and then pulling out of a junction nothing back to slowness it doesn't make sense lol

Update .... It now comes and goes every couple of miles 👎 going to citroen tomorrow and hopefully it's still not working so they can see what's going on haha

My Ds3 recently developed a similar issue (47000 Km on the clock). Misfire on cylinder 1 and loss of power. It only happens in the mornings going to work. Replaced spark plugs and coils but the problem is still there. Any info will be greadly appreciated
