Having trawled a few threads I cant see one specifically to do with Bellone wheel dimensions, and what aftermarket wheel dimensions you should look for, that can fit satisfactorily.
Im referring particularly to the 17" Bellones on my THP 155 Dsport, but feel free to add details or query issues surrounding the wheels on your DS3 model, as they are not all the same. Some are smaller. Some are bigger.
My OEM Bellone wheel is 17" 7J rim, although when I measured it, it was 8" wide unless I allowed too much for the tyre. The exisiting tyre are the Potenzas which are 205/45/17. The PCD is 4 times 108, which is basically to do with the number and spacings of the wheel bolt positions i think.
The offset which Ive never really understood completely, but means if it aint right the wheel wont fit, are both negative and positive offsets. The Bellone (Info got from this site) is either 25, or 27. Its to do with how far in/out the wheel sits on the hub. If to far out it could rub onto parts, speacially at the front and also wrong offset can not only effect the dynamics/ steering and suspension of the car, but too far out can invalidate car insurance, if more than 10mm out each wheel.. (Always tell your insurance)
I have bought some used aftermarkets and bought them from someone who fitted them to a DS3 and theyre great. Was told they were 25 offset. (Will measure them up soon). When I went to get them balanced was told there were no spigots. These are basically big washer type things which are seated butween the wheel centre hole, and the hub. If the wheel doesnt fit exactly these spigots centre the wheel and take the gap up, You wont need them for wheels appropriate to your model. (65.1mm for DS3 Hub but check) and if you dont have them the weight of the car is on the bolts, and not the hub where it should be
So, when I went to look at another used set recently, I tried to calculate the offset myself. Bellone measured 8" wide rim to rim, wheel backspace was 5 and 3quarters of inch (May be wrong) which works out as offset of 32, according to the chart on the web! That dont seem to go to common consensus on this site of either 25 or 27 offset
The aftermarkets I bought work out at 25 offset ( 8" wide rims, 5 and half inch back space) and PCD is the same as the Bellone. (So they should fit)
Feel free to contribute, as its helpful to know what size wheels anyone can fit to the range of the DS3 . Ive also got 40 profile tyres rather than 45 OEM Bellone tyres, which is the distance between the rim of the tyre and the road surface.
Any helpful contributions/ observations appreciated.
Probably got a lot of this mixed up, so try not slate too much. We are all trying to learn.
