On a separate note, Chris I assume the tire you are looking at is the T1-R? This is what Toyo has to say about them
"Ultra-High Performance Summer Tire. Whether the road is wet or dry, this ultra-high performance summer tire enhances handling and performance. Designed for sports sedans and coupes, it is available in a range of sizes with speed ratings V and Y." http://toyotires.com/tire/pattern/pr...e-summer-tires
Never used this tire myself so amazingly have no opinion on it
Yes
The tyre is that one...and its a Summer Tyre...no such thing as all weather
I didn't rate it on my Octavia vRS...and were very noisy compared to my Conti 5's I now have
The tyre reviews on the Toyo suggest its better in the wet than the Bridgestone...not that's saying a lot
Can only base my opinion on reviews and personal recommendations (From here)
So what else can I do
Maybe a vote? LOL
ed: So who suggest what for a tyre that's a good all rounder, and chuck in a bit of track too (Hope you don't mind this on the thread SFG. Can start another if you like)
I found the Michelin energy saver tires to be a decent general tire. Definitely no sporting pretexts and not for any track use. Just a good all around every day tire.

Yes- they do those Michelin pilot super sports 40 profile for £130 for a 17 inch rim
Takes me over my £100 a corner budget tho
Wait for the "What price a life" comments
So makes me think- as the DS3 is FWDrive, would it be best to put good tyres on the front, or back if you just buy a pair?
Back is light and may need more grip, and front is heavy and would wear them out quicker, but would get better grip for performance?

Now we are talking summer tires! It is now what is the price of performance over those cheap Indonesian or whatever tires of yours
