Absolutely agree with all this and would like to reiterate the real problem area for a direct injection engine is the intake valve area that will not be cleaned with this system.

I see Terraclean now do a Direct injection petrol valve cleaning service too.

Pricing for this is approx £80 quid here in NI. Friend of mine is getting this done to his Golf GTI soon.

Yeah the Rep in co.antrim is very helpful on his facebook page and i do know a few guys who have used terra cleaning in the past, they swear by it.

So, I note the terraclean site mentions having diesels treated as well, never seen that recommended for DS3 diesels..... :confused:

My mate had his 520d done recently said the engine felt much more responsive after the terraclean. Terraclean also do a DPF clean if a regen does not clear faults etc. have a look hear for all the services Terraclean do

No, apparently there is one in E Grinstead, if I ever need to do it I will do a more widespread search for those who can do diesel engines

Altho e.grinstead is closer to me drivewise???

You need to speak with the local rep really but on average £80 for the direct injection clean service, and £120 for the main Terraclean service.
