My new Mercedes Benz A Class FL A200 AMG Line that I'm waiting for delivery in December has three years paint warranty and THIRTY years anti corrosion warranty. Slow in manufacture and delivery though i.e. 15/16 weeks from order. Delay with the AMG alloy wheels!!

I no longer have a DS3 and defected to Mercedes who are now two times double F1 World Champions!
Seem to remember the 00s C and E class had the same "30 year" warranty. Didn't stop Merc turning down warranty claims left right and centre when the floors and wings and sills were rotting out of 5-8 year old cars. The oldest are still under warranty now technically....yet can't remember the last time I saw one without tin worm.

OP sorry to hear about your issues hope it gets sorted to your satisfaction.

Quick update folks, the car went in on the 6th Jan with what started out as a couple of small blisters on both sides of car however when paint was stripped back they found a good few more bits of rust, here is a couple of pics.P.S I have registered a complaint with Citroen uk as coachwork told me that the rust will probably appear somewhere else on the same panels at a later date.

Quick update folks, the car was repaired by a Citroen approved bodyshop, on the day I went to pick it up I ended up rejecting it due to the amount of orangepeel, overspray on various bits of plastic trim and the chrome on the doors not fitted properly. I was then assured by bodyshop to leave it with them and it will be sorted bearing in mind they already had it for two weeks and I was not supplied by a courtesy car form either citroen or bodyshop. So 4 days later get the call that your car is ready and you will be very pleased this time. Another visit to pick it up and my heart sunk it was still covered in orangepeel, overspray and the trim not sorted, told them I wasn't happy and was going to complain to ciroen. I complained to a Mr Maximillion Jamieson at DS customer care .He said he would replace chrome trim as a gesture of goodwill to me and give me a free service which I refused. I told him I wanted somebody from citroen to inspect it before paying bodyshop. The answer was nope sorry that's not happening. They are now telling me that they are not doing anything else for me bye bye. So after my car going in with 3 small bits of rust and bodyshop finding 19 bits of rust in total when stripping back and then getting a poor paint job for the pleasure they are now doing hee haw to rectify it after numberous emails asking them to rectify defects. So be carefull folks if this goon from DS customer cares name is dealing with any of your issues. I will post a few pictures of the areas of rust in different states of repair.

I am in the market for a Citroen DS3 and am really worried now! Any news on your car? So is the warranty transferable to future buyers? And is it 12 years for corrosion? ( so if i get a 2011-2012 car it will be ok)

My car is going to be appraised by another citroen dealer this Thursday as the paint job that was carried out is shocking, orangepeel , no shine and overspray on various bits of plastic trim , but the bit that concerns me is 19 bits of rust surely that's an issue that citroen need to look at in depth rather than just have a bodyshop rub it back fill it then paint .
