So if you go the whole hog and get a new alloy, what you gonna do then as a matter of interest?
Just carry on till the inevitable happens again?

Depending on how long you wanna keep the car, probably best as it seems small graze, to cover and protect?

^ ^ ^ There several products on the market, which either clip or stick on the the rim, which are hardly noticeable, and come in black (Tyre) or silver (Wheel) colour

They cover up damage, and protect from future damage.

          Bingo!

Yep....indeed these wheels are Diamond Cut and have to be sent off to be re lathed unless they do the lathing on sight... I am also told they can cost a fortune to re lathe!! I'm p****d off as I've caught my wheels twice now but haven't had them repaired because it's so expensive!!!!

Check out the different types, I remember reading that some use metal clips that can also damage the wheels

I've had my first quote back for a machine repair, £150 incl. VAT.

I'm just waiting on another quote to see if there's any difference, but the first company is close, and I can leave the car with them whilst the work is carried out.

Buy new car, put on £100 alloys, store originals.

X = Years you keep the car.

Put originals back on, sell car.

                      Simples.

That's not a bad price to redo the Bellones.

Would really recommend the rim blades over spending a ton on a new wheel or refurb. My other half kerbed the front wheel on my ds3 (same wheels as you have). Damage was the full 360 of the wheel. Rim blades have completely covered the damage, only regret now is that I didnt fit red rimblades as they would have looked cool.

@Superflyguy - I would recommend getting the blades direct from the manufacturer - the first set I got came via an Amazon seller and the primer had dried out and they wouldn't stick - complained to him and direct to company and got replacement sets from both! Apparently some third party sellers have old stock that's been lying around and the adhesive etc can "go off". Darren at Rimblades was really helpful, and sent a new set really quickly - http://www.rimblades.com/
ALSO - thanks to Chris_Blue for his help and advice (and reviews on blades v alloygators)
