Did you get dpf removed with your exhaust?

I had a Powerflow Cat Back Stainless Steel sports exhaust system fitted,the Cat and DPF are left untouched but the rear box is at least 50% smaller and the twin tips are chrome finish so require metal polish occasionally.

As I have an induction kit by GSR which has a twin cone filter on it and the back box is smaller the engine note is louder and has a bit of rasp to it which is less achievable with a Turbo Diesel but still different from standard all the same.

At least once a week I drive 15 miles each way commute,so an ideal time to drive most of that journey at 3000rpm plus,that way the exhaust gets really hot and so should the DPF!

Thanks for that! Been given a quote for full exhaust and a remap but not sure whether to go ahead or not, seems a large expense tbh have you got any videos or the exhaust?

I recall that the Quantum Blue Remap was under £300 and the Exhaust under £500 bearing in mind that Powerflow is usually half the cost of a Milltek exhaust.

I do not have sound of my exhaust recorded at present.

Is that all the remap was Jez? I thought it would be alot more expensive! Did Jamie do it for you? What was the difference when it was done and did it hike your insurance up alot? Sorry for all the questions.

Quantum remap was done in Caterham,Surrey,I did not go to Jamie on that occasion as it was too far to go to Hinkley.
The car is much more responsive now for acceleration and overtaking etc but economy is retained,insurance applies to each individual vehicle and owner,it is wise to inform your insurer of changes and if you run into issues then there are modified car policy specialists available.

Jamie is at Hinkley,SP Tuning in the Midlands. However there are Quantum remapping specialists countrywide,so you may be able to talk to one closer to home about your requirements.

I do indeed - but I'm doing a couple of other minor cosmetic changes first and wait for payday etc.
