    I did notice a change in engine sound at first,but it is not as obvious as having an induction kit/cone filter fitted.

    You`re not wrong there! In workboots it can be possible to press two pedals at once.

    BeefMasta, I`ve posted photos of the two footrest solution,taken at night sorry! That will stop any carpet wear by my workboots!

    Carpet wear in that spot is a common issue for some, it seems to be down to driving style and foot position when pressing the clutch. I think it's classed as wear and tear too so usually won't be covered unless you get a particularly generous dealer or sweet talk CUK into a good will gesture.

    I had the issue in my previous DS3 but not checked my current one yet to see if it's still happening, it's had the official Citroen alloy footrest from new so hopefully that's helped a bit.
