Couple new changes to the car.
Installed an upper strut tie bar. Does make a difference in the handling with better turn in.
and a Forge silicon filter box inlet hose for a pug 207. It fits ok, could be a touch longer. 0 performance gain but looks great.

Also used some plasti dip on the side baguettes, wanted to see what it looked like black if I end up liking it will put vinyl wrap on them or paint them. Do not think the plasti dip will last very long, will see.

          @cyclone:

Did you buy this inlet hose for your car: http://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk/con...L_Red%20Hoses-
Just asking because there are two versions available. This one is with an additional hose connector. Could you easily fit that hose as well (the one opposite the front PCV pipe)?

          Thanks and cheers,

Reading this I can appreciate the huge effort and cost that this build must have been so far. Car looks fantastic and very mature unlike another popular build on this forum which is, or at least was, tackier than a fly catcher strip in a Blu Tac shop.

Pacsab that is the one I bought. Just didn't fit the small PVC line because of my catch can.

Diesel-TR it is made by Wiechers Sport http://www.wiechers-sport.de/ for the DS3. They also have a carbon version. I bought mine from http://www.sportfahrwerk-billiger.de/ it's not listed but send an E-mail and they can get it.

Hi Cyclone, how hard is it to fit this strutbar?
Do you need to drill holes or is it a direct fit?

Looks great and makes the handling a bit better!

Fabian yes you have to drill holes to mount it but it is straight forward will see if I can get some pics of how it mounts.
It makes a big difference in handling with turn in.

Liked the side baguettes black so went ahead and sprayed the front with plasti dip to. Took the bumper and grill off to spray it. Bumper comes off easy! Just followed the Forge directions. Think it turned out good.

OK here is a pic of the strut bar mount. Need to drill 2 holes, nuts go on the bottom. I jacked the car up and took the wheel off to get them on. No problems lots of room down there. After the mounts were tightened up put the car back on the ground to put the bar on. The black in upper left corner is from the top plastic grill piece had to trim it a little bit just on right side. Hardest part was getting the holes cut to size for the bar to go thru.

Like that, it's one of those little things that you need to look twice at to notice. Those are the best mods!

Did you figure out if the lower surround (the smile) is just tacked on or are there any clips or grubs behind it?

Will probably fit the strut bar once I fit the modified turbo, intercooler, get the clutch modified to suit and drop the miltek exhaust on.
