Thanks for the kind comments guys.

Not sure what to do with the car yet.
I am still running the engine in and have done about 80 miles now.

If I do keep the car I will probably raise the suspension up a bit (its far too low for me).
Maybe get the wheels powder coated matt grey (same as the white racings).
Then I will use it for show/meets and the occasional track day.

There was so much crap on the carpet I was glad of the opportunity to vacuum underneath the trims.

It was a good job that I decided to take this job on.
After the carpets were removed, I found that there were soaking.

I got the hose pipe out and completed a water ingress test, turns out that the drains underneath the scuttle were blocked.
These were cleaned, no more water ingress.

Bonus 20p found under the carpet!!

After I hung the rear carpet out and left it for 24 hours to dry.
The inside of the car was dried using a cloth, I then left it outside all day in the sun with the windows down.

I bought a second hand carpet from eBay for £40, this was fitted.

Then all of the interior was put back together.

Hey guys, I have a question.

I am considering buy a DS3 1.6 THP Petrol. I would like to know if to change the original Pistons to forged ones, I need to make any extra work in the block or something like that?

Could anybody here with more experience help me with that advice?

After read here some comments of some DSs having problem with it and other engine issues, I would like to make a full maintenance to have no further problem soon!

                                Thank you all very much!
