Still like how you are keeping all the connections nice and tidy! Hope you keep this up when you move it to other side :P

So just been out and put the sub on the other side of the boot, and thought I'd take some pictures of how I did it, so here they are:

How the cables connect to the car

The ground is connected on the left side behind a vent

      The speaker converter I used

The cables in place ready for the sub

The cables installed and the settings I have to sub on while I run it in (head unit is on bass -9)

The power cable fuse, kept it easy to access incase it blows

The sub in its new location

      It's old location

Looks much smaller and neater on the left side. Hope this helps for anybody looking to add a sub/ amp

I went down to Citroen to ask them about it when I got the sub, they said its a special fit and wouldn't tell me the details about it. Been looking around too for the plug but it seems no where does them

So I brought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7" Tablet for the car as it can run torque pro, sat nav apps, music player, videos ect and was better value than a new head unit. But I wanted to make a custom mount for the car as the cheaper mounts from eBay are from Hong Kong and would take a while to arrive and might not be the best quality. After watching some YouTube videos I came to the conclusion that a 'side slotted' mount that could charge my tab was the best choice, but I wasn't sure how to attach it to the car or how to make it look any good.

So I came up with some rough cardboard cut out ideas and eventually came up with a idea. My grandad then very kindly went and got the materials Friday morning and started constructing the case while I was at work.

To cut a long story short the mount came together nicely and looked like this

I then sprayed the mount with Halfords grey primer ready for the black paint

After about 6-7 Coates of primer

I then decided on a gloss black paint to match the dash, but when I started painting the can of paint decided to freeze up and just wouldn't work...
So knowing a new tin of paint is £8ish I decided to vinyl wrap it using left overs from my wheel project. And it has probably turned out better than I could have painted.

Some pics: (excuse the messy fingerprints and flash reflection)

The only thing left to do the mount is fit the charging cable when it arrives.

Not too bad for a first try

Sorry not my cup of tea but each to their own I suppose some of the mods are clever but the one I dont really like is the graphics that make the car something it is not ..............................bit like putting a GTR badge on the boot

Nothing negative about it I said I dont like what has been done thats all

The mods are clever as I have stated but I would not add the graphics so what is negative about that
