  • Connor's DS3 THP

I thought that after doing my few mods on the car, i would start a build thread, so i hope you enjoy my on-going project!

Lets start in May time, onto my 3rd car. I wanted something nice looking, and with a bit power. At the time, there weren't a lot on the road so i also thought it would be something different as well.

9K miles White with Burgundy Roof.

So I bought a few bits and pieces.

    - Mudflaps
    - Wind Deflectors ( think this is a really simple, but great looking modification )
    - Rear Chrome Strip

(More to continue computer is playing up)

    (Had to shrink the images)

    Dump Valve also fitted

Mud flaps, White Light Outlines and Club Stickers on.

Colour coded side skirts. (not quite the right matching colour, but close enough!)

Pressed plates and Forge induction kit went on.

So after seeing more and more DS3's out and about, i fancied doing something a bit different. Thought about it and took the leap and got a Camo roof wrap with side mirrors to match.

So obviously after the Camo Roof, the car had to be lowered.

Spax Coilovers went on. Took a whole day! (no joke, was a pain!)

I think you'll agree though, well worth the time it took!

      Future modifications...

Well i'm happy to say i'm paying Jamie at SPTuning a visit next Friday for Full Decat Miltek and Remap. Very excited!
Also think i need to get the Seat Leon Cupra Splitter for the front, may do a few carbon fibre wrap/dips, but we will have to wait and see.

Way cool. How easy are the mud flaps to fit as that is one thing that tempts me?

Easy as pie! They don't stop all the mud getting onto the side of your car though... But looks wise, cheap and easy.

Okay so fittable by a dealer or okay to do yourself? That is if any drilling is needed if so I'd be going to the dealer.

Oh and how much were they?

Clip on or drill though Zack? Says he scared to death of damaging the car. Mind you I'd like trim parts around the wheel arches as well so it'd get expensive I guess!

They are attached using self tappet screws (comes with the Mudflaps), these are screwed within the arch. We have them on for £31.99 each. RRP £36.73 each

                        Kind Regards,

Thanks Aiden, so x by 4 for the full car then. I don't suppose anyone has a close up side on photo of what they look like when in place?
