Seems to be a bit low on meet ups after the GREAT NATIONAL the 1st and the French Car Show.
TRAX is coming tho.
Isnt it horrible to meet when its chucking down with rain- so it started a few thoughts rumbling
So hows this for an idea?
DATE(s): 3 - ALL Sundays: (The meet is only on ONE of the Sundays)
5th August POSTPONED due to weather
16th September - Cancelled due to WRC attendance
23rd September UNDECIDED at 8.00am Sunday 23rd
Location : SOUTHEND (Sort of picked out the air for us down here)
Venue: To be advised closer to time. Will be either a nice pub/garden to have a munch, and even the promenade for a park up. Definitley a little cruise around the town and seafront for half hour. Theres certainly a few more members on here than me to suggest somewhere half decent.
Time : Midday
DATEs- So why 3 dates?. The idea is for a local meet, for local DS3ers in South East Region, although anyone who wants to travel from afar is very welcome. The idea is that if the weather is forecast rain or very damp (As it is a lot nowadays) then the meeting would be postponed to the next date. THAT WORKED WELL THEN LOL (IE The day before, Saturday evening by general consent) No point in having a meet if we cant eye up and explore each others motors.
TO DO: Its not an event as such with things planned. Just have a good chat, chew the cud bout all things Citroen DS3. No giveaways or freebies. A few days before things will be more firmed up. Meet up may only be an hour or 2- see how it goes.
Anyway thats the idea. If no one interested- nothing ventured/ nothing gained. Say what you think of the idea. And if you can think of something better then say
Expressions of interest would be helpful to gauge whether its worth doing, although have discussed it with several others, so there are a few who say they are up for it.
