Know what you mean- pretty much last 10 years of cars Ive had leather- but its hot when its hot, and not that warm when below freezing outside - even with heated seats cos they take a while to kick in

So went for cloth upholstery this time

Run your aircon for 2-3mins before you get in?

Still- we dont get a lot of this weather - Ha

Rang Citroen today and got it booked in for next week. The engineer confessed that he didn't think it had got cold enough when they handed it back last time!

Just driven home with ambient temp at 23^ and cabin temp only dropped from 110^ to 80^ after 45 minutes and that was with a thermometer stuck on the air vent. it seems to let cool air flow through down to a setting of 16/17 and then as it kicks the fan in it blows warm/ambient air through instead of chilled air as if the mix is wrong.

Anyone esle able to get a thermometer on your air vent to see how low you can go against ambient?

Just got my car back from BCC Bolton and they admitted that they connected the new compressor incorrectly, thus causing my lack of cold air. On the way home it got down to 6 degrees at the air vent whilst showing 24 degrees outside - Happy Days  Shame it's going to pi** it down for the next fortnight

They kindly lent me a C3 VTR+ for the morning whilst they had mine in and it had the panoramic roof (seamless from screen to roof) which was awesome and gave a really different driving experience - if you get the chance try one and then we'll have to hope they make it an option on the DS3.

I got a 7 1/2 hour drive tomorrow, (Somerset-Edinburgh) and I hope the A/C is do its job. Hope I still got skin left on the back of my legs after as well, and not stuck on the 6 animal skins or however many it takes.
