You need to ask if the paint finish was "baked" to obtain a hard finish but it sounds like it was a smart repair, if so that's not good on a new car and won't be as durable as paint that's been heat finished.Polar White DS Sport Plus 150 THP

mmmm if I get the Racing they will be my dealer then i guess. Must admit the salesman I spoke to there when I test drove the THP was a very pleasant guy and even rung me back a couple weeks ago to check if I was still after the racing or not. Any one here had dealings with them and happy with the service and aftersales care?

** Update**
Just had a call from the dealers, who informed me that Citroen UK have sanctioned (under warranty) them to respray my bumper, after it was agreed by all parties after looking at pics i sent them that it was a colour mismatch, i was told that " sometimes plastic bumpers show up a different hue from sprayed metal panels". The dealer stated that the difference on mine isn't within the acceptable tolerances.
The dealer is going to call me in a few days to arrange to pick up my car, and deliver me another DS3 to use whilst they have my car for 3/4 days.
So far so good.......just off to take my medication for my OCD :rolleyes::rolleyes:Polar White DS Sport Plus 150 THP

"Can open.......worms everywhere!"
Glad to hear you got something sorted out, but I'm concerned that many people may rush off to their dealer without knowing what Citroen UK calls acceptable tolerances.
The only advice I can offer here is to speak with your dealer first if you feel that the colour difference is extreme on your DS3, but be prepared for Citroen UK to refuse any claim....I should never have doubted the Lord of Bacon!!
