It's not ocd, it's jus that some ppl can tell the difference between different shades of colour... Some of us just can live with it and some can't.

Complained about the same thing when i had the subaru, but got told that it's common these days and they are not going to fix it.

Alex can you update this post when you have been to dealers, interested in how they will fix your problem.

I work for a motor manufacturer, bumpers are sprayed separate and sent to assembly where they are sequenced in to match car colour , the difference I see everyday in colour makes u realise how different body to bumper is on most cars, plastic always takes different to body , good of a dealer to offer to help though if your not happy ....

I will be interested to see where this goes as I doubt Citroen will offer anything up, but keep us posted.

Hiya mines just off colour to, with working for a bodyshop suppier company we mix paints etc you get know u a thing or two, paint put on plastic come out different to putting it on metal no matter what it is. So l don't mind mine being slightly off as it's common.

                            look at ANY car.

you will notice the bumper and bonnet are different shades.

                            stop being so anal.

No way are they different on any car. My Sport Red is an exact match. The technology is there to make them match.

Graham you rightly expect it to be spot on, and it should be. If they don't agree see how anal they are about you withholding £5K of the money.

If your happy to pay for and can live with different colour bodywork, then that's your choice, like Clive said the technology is there to match up the paint, and as they match up the rear bumper that proves it can be done, and i'm not happy/satisfied to drive around with different colour bodywork no matter how slight it maybe. I guess we all have different standards of what's acceptable and what isn't. I have never heard such rubbish excuses....it's plastic so it's ok if it dosen't quite match blah blah blah....so imagine when you went to Citroen to place an order for your DS, the salesman said on by the way your bumper won't quite match the rest of the paint work, what would have been your reply...oh that's ok Mr Salesman that's perfectly acceptable to me on a brand new car.
