Congrats! Glad it was worth the wait. Hopefully ours won't be delayed for any reason. With luck mid August should see us on the road with it

Had confirmation that my car is being delivered to me on Thursday. Happy days. Time to start filling up my USB with tunes for the hours of driving I will be doing since I am off shift on Thursday & Friday

What are the saying when you call up? They should be able to confirm if it has left the factory and this will give you an idea.

Only thing I can think of is YOU may well have ordered it on the 5th May but did your dealer get the order into the factory on that day or a few weeks later?

Rang the dealer and they say the car was ordered on the 8th May.The manager and sales rep I ordered with were both unavailable.The said they would ring me back with info they did but didn't have any info.So I then rang Citroen customer service who are now looking into it for me.

Doesn't appear that you are getting particularly good customer care from your dealer?

Even taking delays into account I would imagine your car would be on it's way at most within the next two weeks. We ordered ours on the 21st May and were given an estimated delivery time of 6-8 weeks but I will be surprised if we see it before the end of August.

According to the supply bulletin your DS3 would have be scheduled for construction during June with delivery for July.

A point to note is that Dealers swap stock on order to make targets and more often than not they will swap in stock they that they have an order against. For example if I had an order on for a DSport but my order wasn't going to exit untill August, another dealer comes on the phone wants something from my stock and he has a built DSport then I will ask for that in exchange.

What I'm trying to say here is that the car you ordered in not always the car that is delivered.

Rang dealer after waiting for them to ring me again.They have told me that a rough date of 16th July for factory exit.After voicing my concerns about the lack of communication coming from the dealer they have now agreed to text , email or ring me every Thursday with an update.

Do you think with a 16th July factory exit what would you estimate the delivery to me would be? Also do you think an 8th May Order with a 16th July factory exit is realistic IE are they telling the truth?

Wouldn't it usually be a couple of weeks after factory exit? Paper work, transport from factory etc. Should have thought that would be at least two weeks? I reckon 16th July is a pretty realistic estimate.

yeh, I got a suggested 2 1/2 weeks from factory to me :-)
