    Speak to a different salesman/dealership?

      firstly, welcome
regards to your issue, why not phone the dealer and ask if the DSIGN you've ordered does have cruise control?! If he can't find out specifically, on the day you pick it up it doesn't have it, say you want him to sort this as you were told the car you were ordering has it.

Do not defend dealers often but if I was a customer talking to a salesman in person I would expect him to finish with me before handling another person on the phone. Now he may have handled you rudely and there is no excuse for that. Like others have said call back and speak to someone else. If that does not work out Go There! Don't get mad (that never helps) but keep talking to you have your issues clarified. This is all easy stuff.

I have the most basic specced 1.2 VTi Dsign with no extras. It has remote central locking and cruise control/limiter. No tinted windows but the rest of the things you mentioned it has.

Download the brochure from Citroen's website, if you haven't already got a copy, & look at pages 28 & 33.

What's the problem? It's there in black and white in the brochure.

I find it hard to believe that it would come without the cruise control as it is fitted to every model as standard.

IF the car was misdescribed, you have a right to reject within a "reasonable time" (NOT 28 days - it won't take you that long to check what kit it has!!).

If you can't prove that the car was misdescribed, you have no right to reject (I'm assuming here that you didn't buy over the internet). Some retailers apply a 28-day no-quibble return as a matter of policy, but there's nothing in the SGA to that effect.

The contract that you signed will have terms and conditions - read them.

Also read this - it's an easier read than the SGA http://www.oft.gov.uk/shared_oft/738..._explained.pdf

If you decide you want to cancel the sale, the dealer will probably be entitled to retain your deposit - but you've got a much greater chance of persuading them to refund it the earlier you withdraw.

Whatever you do, don't let them register the car in your name and then say you don't want it.

How did you manage to spend £16k on a DSign anyway?!!

As far as I am aware isn't drls law for 2012/2013 spec vehicles? You shouldn't have to pay to add these it's the law to have them on the vehicle!!

When I was buying my DStyle, DRLs were not part of the standard kit on the DSign. I assume that's still the case. Confused me, too, as I thought they were compulsory on all new cars now (although I've seen plenty of 13 plate cars without them).
                                Shark grey / white Vti 120 DStyle ordered 2 March 2013, built 23 March 2013, collected 20 April 2013
