insure me so I moved to Swinton's blackbox who charge what I would consider extortionate rates.
And now you're staying with them even after buying a new car?

Pardon me if this is me having a faulty train of logic but wouldn't it make more sense to look for a cheaper insurer?

But you're still spending over 5k to insure it.. instead of buying a second hand car with much cheaper insurance.

At the end of the day, it's your money but that doesn't stop people from thinking you're a fucking idiot.

Saying that Swinton's will either lower/raise your insurance on a monthly basis depending on your driving, so I am sticking with them for a month or two to see what kind of deductions I could be eligable for (Apparently it can drop drastically)

I understand wanting the best car as soon as you can but as Fish said you need to look at the expensive insurance costs in doing so.... You must be on good money if you can afford the car + insurance, dont think I could....

Regardless of what car I own my insurance is still high, in nearly all cases insurance cost more on a 2nd hand car than a brand new one and I am also not the kind of person who will be driving around in a old banger...

Any jobs going? If you can comfortably afford that much a month for insurance then I'm clearly in the wrong profession.

Ever occur to you I might like something nice for myself? I guess not. If I really wanted to be pretentious I would go and purchase a 2nd hand BMW for far less and look the part.

                                Contradictory much?

Edit: Also, good luck insuring the BMW.
