Seems that they make adapters for the N54 Mini.

What we save the ecosystem here is nothing compared to what 3rd world developing countries put out in emissions.

Quite a lot of comment generally round the web, that driving style , and fuel, add to the exisiting problem with GDI engines
VPower only...I've had it since 12k on the clock

Looks like the blaster will be a good investment for us THPers Jamie.
Premium fuel too, and carbonised like that. A can of BGK 44 or whatever, every 5thou miles for me. Realise it doesnt wash over inlet valeves, but it may help
Good hard driving to burn the stuff off too..... says in hope LOL

Terraclean is also a good way of getting the combustion chamber to exhaust clean too.

That really is an obscene amount of Carbon build up on which is a low mileage car In this age of clean burn Fuel its crazy reminds me of having to do top end rebuilds on engines 40 years ago.

Its ok saying run your THP on V Power and premium Fuels and add catch cans to lessen the effect and THEN every so often get the head cleaned just think of all the extra money you are just chucking away

Crap design head and breather system end of day

Same with most engines these days, its the EU that forces manufacturers to burn excess fuel/oil vapour and exhaust gasses to help developing worlds polute more.

my last car Seat Altea TDI Sport with its well known VW BKD engine had a serious design faults too. the oil breather took oil vapour and deposites into the inlet pipe, then lined the intercooler. if thats not bad enough then fouls both the Stop Valve which will fail within 75k as the oil gets into the electrical mechanism and then makes its way to the EGR valve which is already coked up with Exhaust carbon, then dumps all the rest of the crap onto the intake valves, and then EU wants the Engine to burn the rest! Shear madness tbh.

Jamie. Are you doing a before and after rolling road when you get the walnut blaster? Would love to see the difference .

Won't be doing a before run, don't want any large chunks of carbon to come off and destroy something. Our car has always been down on power compared to average. Maybe this was why. If so there maybe 10-15 more ponies to unleash....that would be nice

Its a pity in NI that no one does walnut shell blasting by the looks of it. Though am gonna keep my ear to the ground just in case.

I'd certainly be interested in that service Jamie, mines at 25k so probably looks the same.
