Further update: I got this from Citroen in response to my various complaints by e-mail:
Thanks for your recent contact to us about your Citroen DS3 and the issues you've experienced since purchase.
I've been in contact with XXXXX at XXXXXXXX who confirmed there's been previous repairs involving the water pump, temperature sensor and a turbo pipe most recently.
The repair to the turbo pipe hasn't eliminated what they now attribute to an underlying issue with the turbo, hence this requires replacement. I understand the parts have arrived with the dealer and they will be in contact with you shortly.
I can appreciate you require reassurance the vehicle is fit for purpose and can assure you Wingrove are confident this repair will resolve the outstanding issue. I'd also add that we'd consider your vehicle fit for purpose as it's covered just under 10,000 miles since August last year.
No manufacturer will guarantee that you'll never experience hence a warranty is supplied with all new vehicles. I do accept you've been unfortunate though and can understand the concern caused due to this.
I hope this provides the assurances required and thank you again for taking the time to bring this matter to our attention. [/I]
Pretty close to a "go and get stuffed" response. Has anyone had any joy in getting something in the way of a goodwill payment from them and if so, how did you go about it? My car goes in again for two days next week for the turbo to be replaced.

I selected the roof scoop and then was told that this wouldn't be honoured. =/
Be very sceptical, err on the side of caution and get everything in writing.
If you encounter any further issues that are resolved under warranty I'd look at finding a replacement vehicle and requesting a full refund on yours.cyclone> Fish is the man

put mine down as a 155 having problems too now. last week drivers window was only going down 1/2 way, turned out mechanism has come away from the door and was obstructing the window from moving down.
Next day, noticed Temp gauge playing up. few days later its now 90% on the first bar and doesnt move unless it decides once in a while to go up and down like a yoyo for about a minute. cant get the car booked into a local garage for a week! wonder if they are all full of DS3's getting fixed lol

Looks like I've joined the club. Car broken down now. Waiting on AA. Temp gauge to max, beeping and saying stop. Radiator fan on constantly. Top radiator hose hot. bottom freezing cold. Looks like same issue. Water pump and/or thermostat failure along with temp sensor!

Back home now. AA man said he thinks its the temp sensor. On startup after approx 30 seconds the red STOP warning comes on and the temp gauge is at Max even though the engine is cold. Turning off engine the fans run for at least 5-10 minutes after. Will drop the car off at the dealers (50 yards away) on Monday.
