I've been boring & ordered silver, thought that would be the most in keeping with the alloy.

I'll be letting Halfords know that they're selling incomplete sets when I take them back on Sat, I think they may have given me a set someone has returned!

When I picked up my DS3 from the dealer the guy who went to tax my car has a red edition DS3, and he had some red rim protectors he said you can buy direct from Citroen in any colour, think they were expensive though, like £150 for 5 if I remember correctly.

£150 ?? That's a bit more than you can find them direct from the suppliers.

Sheesh- £150 for wheel protectors. Get cheaper ones and stick the extra cash left over, into a wheel repair fund, or replace of the protectors if they come off, would be my suggestion

D'you have any pics of how the silver protectors turned out? I've just discovered a scratch on mine and feeling exactly the same as you did (although I've no idea where it came from as I never park by a kerb!). Would be good to see what the Rimblades look like in the silver! Thanks.

Thanks! I'll have a serious think about these. Need to detail my car first though... the Citroen dealer washed mine today (due to lots of messing about on their part) and have left it fully inflicted in swirls (especially on the roof... cringe!) and mucky smears across the windscreen. Needs a properly good detail now! Might have to get the DA out at the weekend!

You need one of these for next time.

Under no circumstances let any car manufacturers garage/showroom do a service wash or valet on your car. Insist that it is annotated on the paperwork that they will NOT wash the car prior to you handing over your keys.

Yep. I always request not to, but it wasn't in for routine maintenance and they just went ahead and washed it as a 'goodwill' thing. I know they think they're helping but really... I wish they hadn't!
