Hows your rear PCV catch can going James? Will fit one myself soon, (Before winter sets in) but as theres a vacuum pressure on the rear, want to get the correct hosing
Have found some heat/ oil/ water resistant hose thats reinforced with steel wire and has a 19mm internal diameter- wonder how much it can flex. Would that do, or is there specail stuff and "angles" that can be purchased?
Will stick with the Saikou Michi 19mm pipe (Non sighted) can i think- bout £110
Have noticed that the turbo vacuum sits all the time the Turbo isnt engaged, at around -0.8 bar
I used bends from ASH, for the straight lengths I got some unbranded heavy duty stuff the local hose and fittings specialist, oil resistant and strong....bend it too much though and it would tend to kink.

Thanks. Just hope my local car shop sells ASH stuff. as wont know whats needed till i start
Gonn try put the rear pipe straight into the catch can, then place it somewhere where the top pipe out the engine can go in without bending much
Well, stripped her down this afternoon to blast the intake valves. As the kit is designed for the R56 I've had to modify a lot of the parts so it fits on the DS3...main problem is the bulkhead on the DS3 virtually overhangs the back of the engine preventing access with the blaster nozzle. Complete removal of the intake manifold as well, not enough room to just slide it back out the way, horrible job!
After a lot faffing around I eventually started blasting out the first intake. It was heavily caked up, considerably more so from when I last poked the camera down. Had to first remove the heavy build with some long reach picks and scrapers, then inserted the blaster. With just a 5 second blast it looks as new
Only got 2 cylinders cleaned out tonight and will finish it off in the morning, it was gone midnight when I locked up.
Will post up before and after pics shortly.

Update...car all back together and running better than I can ever remember since owning it.
Quieter, smoother and no more hesitations or rough idling. Soooo much more power too

Glad to hear, how long will the walnut blast take when we book in Jamie?
DS3 1.6THP DSport with a few bits added.....nickname BB  Performance...Depends on how heavy my right foot is
Yes, the engine sounds a lot quieter on idle, and through out. Exhaust sound has crisped up, was sounding a bit burbly before. Before when you accelerated sometimes it felt like the the car slowed more and then gradually built power from that. Now it just does what you ask it, smooth and linear. Pedal response is instant.
It took around 30 mins of running for the ecu to adapt properly.
I would say Id need a good day on it to get the job done. But it depends in how bad the valves are. Have only done ours to date so can't say to what scale of build up ours was, but looking on the web ours was bad. I spent around an hour cleaning on each port. 4 hrs strip and rebuild.
