Anybody had a go at repositioning the OEM intercooler to where they fit most aftermarkets on the DS3? (Front of Radiator)
Or thought about doing it? Wonder how hard it would be to do
Would be a lot cooler, and loss less expensive than putting in a Forge one

I have seen a twintercooler setup on a thp before using the standard cooler, that looks pretty interesting

Ed- do you remember if they left the original in place, and just put another in series to it, closeby, or by a good airflow?

The original was in place and modified to fit another small cooler nearby

It is actually the setup used on the 207 race car, think its called a 207 cup or something like that cant fully remember

Ive been looking for a cooler for a while now, found decent size twin pass i think will fit, leaving it for now though gonna buy an xbox one instead lol

Incase your goin any car shows... FCS 13 forge was selling coolers around 550, forge do some gd deals at shows. Shame they not always that price though

Blimey- didnt see Forge at FCS this year. Will keep my eye open.

have emailed trying to sort a deal with Forge over their DS3 intercooler- they looked into it for a few days, got back to me... and politely declined (Blew me away) LOL

They wasnt at fcs14 chris, i think there was a VW show that weekend and they went there... i should have come to the ds3 stand fcs but didnt make it, maybe next year [emoji3]

^ May well visit the Forge shop in the Midlands, and try haggle with them on several items I want
They certainly dont like reducing their prices. Even their ebay stuff never budges- well hasnt for over a year
